Small groups are vital to the spiritual health of our family here at VBC. A small group is a community of people who meet together regularly to learn about the Bible and how to apply God's truth to daily living, bear one another's burdens, encourage one another, love one another, serve one another. It is in the context of these groups that genuine community and spiritual growth begins to happen.
Small groups meet in homes, at church, at coffee shops, or restaurants, at different times of the day and different days of the week. Groups vary in size and meet for 1 to 2 hours. Although the specific structures may vary, there will be a time of fellowship and prayer, along with a discussion about a book of the Bible or an inspirational book.
We have been created to live in community and encourage and help one another! As a leader of your small group, we want you to have the tools you need to feel supported! Continue onto the leader portal here to find the tools you need to study and live out God’s word together.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
